ReplyDeleteFrom what I could research and opinions collected I can say that in the world of technology a few years ago was fought battle between manufacturers of optical media for storage of multimedia content in high definition and that this is the successor to the DVD . On one side we have the Blu - Ray developed by a group of technology companies BDA ( Sony- Philips) ; and secondly this HD- DVD Toshiba and powered by Microsoft .

The blue ray is a bit more expensive because it has a layer that is harder to scratch, but most are similar in cost to the HD-DVD.
